Donald Ray Willis

Donald Ray Willis, 69, of Berea, passed away March 31, 2024, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.

Donald was born in Madison County to the late Cletus Willis and Helen VanWinkle Murray. He attended the Big Hill Holiness church and retired from Facilities Management at Berea College.

He is survived by his son, Donald Eric (Cherish) Willis; his significant other, Bonnie Hopkins; three grandchildren, Ella, Elizabeth, and Paxton; and his siblings, Ronald (Jean) Willis, Kenny Willis, Patsy Woolum, and Connie (Johnny) King. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services were conducted on April 3, 2024, at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Pastor Viki Young officiated.

Active pallbearers were Ronald Willis, Kenny Willis, Bill Castle, Johnny King, Andy Woolum, and Hershel Anglin.

Lakes Funeral Home in Berea was in charge of arrangements.
