Election 2024: Voting sites, times designated for Madison County

Polling locations and early voting times have been set by Madison County Clerk Kenny Barger.
Early voting will be Oct. 31-Nov. 2 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at six locations in Berea and Richmond. On Nov. 5, Election Day, polling locations will be open from 6 a.m.-6 p.m.

Absentee voting (mail-in and in-person) is available to eligible voters. An excuse is needed to request an absentee ballot. To learn more about who may qualify, please visit www.madisoncountyclerk.us/absentee-voting
How to Request a Mail-in Ballot: Voters who meet the eligibility criteria and wish to vote by mail may request their absentee ballot online at govote.ky.gov. The absentee ballot request portal opened on September 21 and will close on October 22. Once requested, the ballot will be mailed to the voter to complete. After completion, the ballot may be mailed back in the provided envelope or dropped off in person at the Madison County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. 
In-Person Absentee Voting: In-person absentee voting will be available to eligible voters at the Richmond Branch of the Clerk’s Office from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Oct. 23-25 and Oct. 28-30.
