Joel Douglas "Joe" Rollins

Joel Douglas "Joe" Rollins, 52, of Garrard County, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, in Lexington. Born on August 8, 1972, in Garrard County, Joe was a man of vibrant spirit, and a heart filled with joy.

  Joe is lovingly remembered by his parents, Joel Douglas and Katie Alexander Rollins; his son, Jacob "Ryan" (Kasey) Rollins; his daughter, Amanda (David) Anderson; and his cherished grandchildren, Asher Anderson, Eleanor Rollins, and Emily Rollins. His presence as a devoted father and doting grandfather will be deeply missed.

  An avid collector, Joe had a passion for thrifting and was a regular at local Goodwill stores, always on the hunt for hidden treasures. He enjoyed picking through things for a good bargain that he never wanted to let go of. His love for heavy metal music was well-known.

  Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Lakes Funeral Home. Burial follow in Lowell Cemetery in Paint Lick. Pallbearers were Paul “Sonny” Broughton, Michael Delph, Steve Napier, Lee Cox, Cecil Coffey, and Mike Baltimore. Honorary bearers were Randy Ray and David Anderson.
