Patricia M. “Patsy” Wagers

    Patricia M. “Patsy” Wagers, age 71, wife of Jimmy Wagers passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Saint Joseph Berea emergency department. She was born November17th, 1953, in Richmond, KY to the late Taylor and Amy Lou Deathridge Marcum. Early in their marriage Patsy and Jimmy enjoyed camping and traveling most of the United States with the Goldwing Road Riders Club. Patsy loved being at home with her family, she also enjoyed their annual beach trips and visiting Gatlinburg, TN. She loved cats and also liked to read. Patsy attended First Christian Church of Berea.
    Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her brother and his wife, Jimmy and Brenda Marcum.
Patsy is survived by her husband Jimmy, two stepsons, Ralph Wagers and his wife Terry, and Jamie Wagers, all of Berea, KY, two grandchildren, Jason (Vanessa) Wagers of Louisville, KY and Cameron Wagers of Berea, KY. Two nieces, Jamie Hall and her husband Kevin, and Dawn Gasser and her husband Scott all of Richmond, KY, great nieces and nephews, Natasha Gregory and her husband Jordan of Nashville, TN, Dr. Taylor Marshall and her husband James of Louisville, KY, Dr. Ollie Gasser of Ft. Knox, KY, and Aiden Gasser of Richmond, KY.
    Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday, January 26th, 2025, at Davis & Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 27th, 2025, also at the funeral home, Reverends, Mark and Lisa Caldwell-Riess will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jason Wagers, Cameron Wagers, Bill Ward, Paul Baker, Chris Day, and Micah Johnson, honorary pallbearers will be Jill Whittaker, Amanda Thomas, and Lou Anne Robinson.
