Ralph Chasteen, a man of profound faith, departed this world for his heavenly home on January 26, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on April 28, 1932, in Garrard County.

Ralph's life was marked by the love he had for his family and his devoted service to God. He was the cherished husband of the late Georgia Mae Chasteen and was also preceded in death by his parents, William "Wick" and Bertha Jane Chasteen; his son, Audie Michael Chasteen; and his brothers, John, Elden, Oscar "Toad," Raymond, Ernest, Harry, Clyde, James, and Arnold Chasteen.

His legacy continues through his six sons, Anthony Ralph Chasteen, Ron (Cathy) Chasteen, Steve Chasteen, Jeff Chasteen, Donald Ray Chasteen, and Jonathan Paul (Amy) Chasteen; his loving sister, Carrie Lou Simpson; his treasured 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.  He is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Brenda Chasteen.

Throughout his life, Ralph cultivated the earth as a farmer with the same care he tended to his congregation as a minister of 74 years.
