Charlotte Anne Tobler
January 31, 2025
Mrs. Charlotte Anne Tobler, 85, the widow of Tom Tobler, passed away early Monday morning, Jan. 27, 2025, at Baptist Health – Richmond.
She was born on July 27, 1939, in Knoxville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Elmer and Verna Woodby King. After growing up in Knoxville, Tobler and her family relocated to Richmond where she, along with her husband, have been active members of the community. After retiring from the Daycare on Duncannon, Tobler opened Nanna’s Angels Daycare in her home. She loved all children, but her grandson and great-granddaughter held a special part in her heart for sure. She was a member of the Red House Baptist Church and attended the First Christian Church.
Survivors include: her children, Tim Tobler (Wanda), and Cindy Hardy (Phil); one sister, Brenda Neal (Ralph); her grandson, Caleb Hardy (Jodi); and her great-granddaughter who was also her namesake, Charlotte Hardy; her faithful dogs, DJ & Harper; as well as the many children who were part of her Nanna’s Angels that she considered just like her own.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public services.
The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main S T., Richmond, is in charge of the arrangements.
A healthy Madison County requires great community news.
