Starla D. Foster

Starla D. Foster, 73, the widow of Ronnie C. Foster, passed away Sunday evening, January 26, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.

Starla was born on August 4, 1951, in Richmond. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Lucille Hurt Ballard. She was a retired insurance agent with Roberts Insurance and Investments of Richmond, and had previously worked for the Jett Insurance Agency. Starla had a passion for crocheting. She had made several lap blankets for Hospice, Drs. offices and cancer patients. She was a member of The Berea Church of God.

Survivors include her daughter: Rhonda F. Goode (Charles); one brother: David Ballard as well as other relatives.

A Graveside Service was be held Wednesday Jan. 29 at the Richmond Cemetery . Pastor Stephen Hobbs officiated. The service were held in the Cemetery Pavillon.

The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
