Ruth Pearl Webb Lake

Ruth Pearl Webb Lake, 87, widow of Matt Lake passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Born in 1937 to the late Odis and Bessie Stewart Webb in Madison County, she was a homemaker, loved flowers and raising a garden every year, she never met a stranger and loved everyone she met. Ruth especially enjoyed visits from friends and family. She was of the Holiness faith and attended the Red Lick Holiness Church.
Other than her husband and parents she was preceded by, one brother, John Wence Webb, and two sisters, Barbara Powell and Lucy Gray.
Ruth is survived by one brother, Odis Webb, two sisters, Betty Wasson, and Lillie Adams all of Berea. Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 14, 2025 from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m. at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Northern officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakes family cemetery on Webb road in the Red Lick community, pallbearers will be Wayne Adams, Anthony Powell, Johnny Gray, Ronnie Gray, Kyle Lamb, and Casen Lamb, one honorary pallbearer Wayne Adams.
