Overnight snowfall leaves roadways slick and treacherous

Berea and Madison County residents woke up to another round of snowfall, and the roadways are slick and treacherous.

In addition to heavy snowfall, colder temperatures have also arrived in the region.

“Our road crews have been out overnight and continue to clear roadways for your morning commute with low temperatures,” county officials said in a social media post.

Madison County Schools will use its eighth NTI Day Wednesday, while Berea Community Schools will use a traditional snow day.

The City of Berea pubic offices will open at 9 a.m., while all Madison County offices are on a 2-hour delay “to allow us to get sidewalks, entrances and public areas safe.”
