William Carl Williams

William Carl Williams, age 87, of Richmond, formerly of Garrard County, passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

A devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Thomas Williams; his parents, Bill and Jessie Johnson Williams; his grandson, Douglas Williams; and two brothers.

He is survived by his son, Billy Williams, and his wife, Mitzi; his siblings, Karen York, Doris Roberts, Ernest Williams, and Ann Ross; and his cherished great-granddaughter, Mika Williams.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, William served his country with honor before dedicating many years of hard work to Parker Seal, where he later retired. He will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering love for family, and his strong work ethic.

William’s wishes were to be cremated. Services to honor William’s life will be announced at a later date.
