Mr. Alfred C. Smith

Mr. Alfred C. Smith, 87, of Madison County, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, at his home.

Mr. Smith was born on March 9, 1938, the son of the late Harry & Dorothy Eades Smith. He was a retired engineer having worked for Kirk & Blum in Lexington for many years. Mr. Smith was a US Navy Veteran and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include: his daughter, Pam Mae Humble; his son, Frankie Smith; his stepson, Doug Williams; one brother, John W. Smith; and several grandchildren and many extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Willa Mae Houshell Smith; and one son, Alfred Dewayne Smith.

Graveside services will be conducted at Noon, on Monday, in the chapel of the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Full military honors will be observed.
