Brenda Lee Howard

Brenda Lee Howard, 63, wife of Omer Howard, passed away Saturday, March 22, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born Feb. 1, 1962, in Berea to the late John William Hayes and Wyline Willis Hayes. She retired from Eastern Kentucky University and proudly served her country in the Army Reserves. When not enjoying her grandson, you could probably find Brenda at a yard sale or a pallet store looking for a deal. She will always be remembered for putting everyone before herself.
Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 38 years, Omer Howard, sons, Timothy Howard, Lexington, Tyler (Destinnie) Howard, Richmond, siblings John Wayne (Drucilla) Hayes, Richmond, Judy Rhodus, Richmond, Sandra Marcum, Richmond, grandson, Dorian “Xander”, mother-in-law, Christine Howard, Richmond, and her yorkie “Mayzee”.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, at Oldham, Roberts, and Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 28, also at Oldham, Roberts, and Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Barnes officiating and Dwayne Abrahamson offering prayer and obituary reading. Burial will follow at Madison County Memorial Gardens, where pallbearers will be Tim Howard, Tyler Howard, Sam Howard, Chris Harrison, Nick Conatser, and Blake Jackson.
