Bro. Bradley Johns

Bro. Bradley Johns, 92, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, at Baptist Health- Lexington.
Bradley was born on May 6, 1932 in Richmond, and was the son of George K. Johns, Sr. and Phoebe Warner Johns, both of whom preceded him in death. He was employed by the Madison County Board of Education for 40 years. Bro. Bradley was a Baptist preacher for over 68 years, pastoring at Stoney Run Baptist Church, Beech Grove Baptist Church, Linden Street Baptist Church, and Clarksville Baptist Church. He never missed an opportunity to share the gospel with those around him.
Survivors include: one son, Jim Johns; two daughters, Pam Lakes (Jerry) and Mitzi Johns Hoskins; four grandchildren, Mindy Gilbert (Harry), Heather Lakes, Carl Hoskins, and Franklin Hoskins; and two great-granddaughters, Kailey Gilbert and Clara Hoskins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all of his siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Barnes and Bro. J.B. Hall officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday, April 7, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Glenn Thomas, Gary Thomas, David Sowers, Harry Gilbert, Steve Ramsey, and Alex Meade.
