Paul Glendon Wyatt

April 15, 2025

Mr. Paul Glendon Wyatt, 76, of Richmond, passed away on Sunday evening, April 13, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center.
He was born in Covington, Kentucky, on November 12, 1948. Paul grew up in the Chicago area, and that is where he learned the trade of HVAC and Refrigeration. Upon moving back to this area, Paul worked for Robert White Refrigeration, Total Comfort, Madison HVAC, and then in 2017, he started his own business, Paul Wyatt Refrigeration, LLC. In his free time, he enjoyed tending to his garden, canning, and sharing the fruit and vegetables he grew (and there was always a lot to share). He also looked forward to spending time with his family and friends, and made sure he cooked more than enough for any and all occasions. Paul was larger than life and commanded any room he walked into – known for his jokes and stories, his presence will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include: his wife and love of his life, Vesta Rapier Wyatt; five children, Jeffery Allen Wyatt (Jennifer), Jonathan Paul Wyatt, Jessica Oswego Wyatt Marciniak (Tim), Ashley Marie Wyatt Teitge (Scott), and James Michael Wyatt (Gail); his sisters, Rebecca Korwes (Wayne), Sharon Lovings Hickman, Vicki Lovings; one brother, James Michael Lovings (Della); seven grandchildren, Taylor Thompson, Alexander “Alex” Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Cecilia “CeCe” Wyatt, Sophia “Sophie” Wyatt, Alexander Teitge, and Kane Teitge; as well as a host of nieces & nephews whom he loved dearly, and many other extended family and friends.
Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by: his parents, James Manning & Emma Jean Baker Lovings, his grandmother, Oswego “Granny” Lindon Swafford, and one niece, Amy Stephenson Allen.
