Glenn Ray Davidson, known affectionately as Ray to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on April 18, in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Nov. 1, 1969, in Fort Benning, Georgia.
Ray’s life was marked by his dedication to his family and his passion for his work. As a skilled arborist, he not only cared for trees but also shared his deep appreciation for nature with everyone around him. His hobbies included camping under the stars, hunting in the early hours of the morning, fishing in the tranquil waters, and creating with his hands, whether it was working with wood or forging knives.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Preceded in death by his father, Glenn Ray Davidson, Sr., his son, Bradley Davidson, and his brother, Adam Davidson, Ray’s memory will be honored and kept alive by his beloved mother, Mary Virginia Hembree Davidson, and his fiancée, Leshia. His children, Brian Todd (Chasiddy) Davidson, Tiffiny (Rodney) Collins, Kayla (Billy) Shackleford, Tasheena Davidson, and Cheyenne (Timothy) Clines, will forever hold their father in their hearts. His brothers, Christopher Scott (Evelyn Scalf) Davidson and Shane Davidson, will miss his camaraderie and spirit.
Ray’s joy will live on through his twelve grandchildren, Piper, Bellamy, Lochlin, Haylen, Payton, Serenity, Jasper, Emmaline, Kelsie, Chase, Riley, and Bradley, each of whom he adored. A special nephew, Harley, along with many other nieces, nephews, and cousins, will remember his warmth and guidance.
