County exploring 800-acre land deal near I-75

Magistrates Tom Botkin, left, and Billy Ray Hughes, right, said Tuesday’s announcement of a potential 800-acre land purchase in northern Madison was a ‘big deal,’ setting up a historic role for the Madison County Fiscal Court when it comes to economic development.
