Crystal Lynn “Critter” Hall Carpenter,

Crystal Lynn “Critter” Hall Carpenter, 43, passed away Wednesday, May 21, at the Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia. 

She was born in Harlan on June 29, 1981, to Cynthia Ann Carroll and the late Charles E. Hall. 

Crystal was a free spirit and loved everyone! She especially enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. Crystal was of the Baptist faith.

Other than her father, Crystal was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Nickole Carpenter, a sister, Rebecca Hall, a grandmother, Cora Loretta Hall, Granny Mae, and Papaw Ralph. Crystal is survived by her husband, Ralph Carpenter, children, Mackenzie (David Pelfrey) Carpenter, Ralph (Linsey) Carpenter, mother & father-in- law, Brenda and Steve O’Neal, her grandchildren, Grayson and Lilly Carpenter, Jaxon Gray, and Bentlee and Ashton Pelfrey. Her sister, Valarie Hall, brother-in-law, Christopher (Alyssa) Adams, and Gary Adams. Dearly loved nieces, Paige, Hailey, Adilynn, Avah, and Alanah Adams. Cousin, Brittany (Cory) Perry, along with many friends who weren't like family.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral services at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 30, at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Darrin Slone officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilot Knob Cemetery, pallbearers will be, Billy Carpenter, B.J. Carpenter, Christopher Adams, Gary Adams, Jefferey Anglin, and David Pelfrey.
