Mark Douglas Shouse

Mark Douglas Shouse, age 54, of Berea, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Central Baptist Hospital following a long, courageous battle against cancer. Mark was born on September 29, 1970, in Richmond. He was a graduate of Madison Central High School in Richmond. Mark was involved in screenprinting for many years in Berea, including being a small business owner. Mark was active in the community and spent several years coaching Little League baseball. Mark was a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church of Berea. Mark enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, spending time with his family, and following his beloved Steelers. He especially enjoyed playing with his Grandson.
Mark is survived by his wife of 29 years, Robbin (Feltner) previously of Jackson, two sons, Ty Shouse of Berea, Chase Shouse (Taylor Durham) of Leitchfield, one grandson, Sawyer Shouse of Leitchfield, his father, Junior Shouse of Berea, his mother, Donna (Roger) Hollon of Berea, and one sister, Kim (Scott) Robinson of Richmond. He also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will miss him.
Mark was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sara Shouse and Elmer Shouse, and his maternal grandparents, Eloise Haslacker and Warren Haslacker.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10th, at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea
with Pastor John Barron and Dennis Engle officiating. Burial will follow in Madison Memorial Gardens in Richmond. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, June 9th at Lakes Funeral Home.
