Bruce Edward Hembree

Bruce Edward Hembree, 61, of Berea, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, after facing complications from a massive heart attack he suffered on May 5, 2025.
Bruce was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. A skilled and hardworking carpenter by trade, he could fix or build just about anything. He took much pride in his work over the years. He also enjoyed fishing when he wasn’t working. He was a member of Middletown Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marietta Isaacs Hembree; daughter Lekisha Hembree (fiancé Jacob Tucker); son Shawn Hembree; and his grandchildren Brayden, Dylan, and Kelsyn Hembree. He leaves behind his mother Patsy Baker Hembree; brothers Marty (daughter Hannah), Jarrod (wife Amanda and children Landon, Colton, and Brooklyn), and Ricky (wife Rhonda and son Seth); as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and church family who will remember him dearly.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lee Hembree, his grandmother Katherine Huff, and his nephew Dalton Hembree, along with aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Service was Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Reppert Funeral Home, where Bro. William Dooley officiated. Burial will followed in Pilot Knob Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jacob Tucker, Jarrod Hembree, Marty Hembree, Ricky Hembree, Frank Hembree, Shawn Hembree.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions made directly to Reppert Funeral Home.
