With love and remembrance, the family of Randy C. Holt celebrates the life of a man whose presence was a true blessing to those around him. Born on March 8, 1968, in Lexington, Randy’s journey through life was one marked by an unwavering dedication to family, an admirable work ethic, and a passion for the natural world. His earthly journey came to a peaceful conclusion on June 10, 2025, in the very town where he first began, surrounded by a comforting family.
Randy had a deep-seated appreciation for craftsmanship and the outdoors. He proceeded to build a successful career as a self-employed flooring specialist, where his exceptional skills and creativity won him the respect and admiration of all who worked with him. Randy's professional conduct reflected his personal values; he was a man known for his honesty, reliability, and the loving care he invested in every project.
His Christian faith played a central role throughout his life, guiding his actions and providing solace during trying times. Randy's love of fishing and the outdoors was second only to his devotion to family and friends. He could often be found fixing things for friends and family, a testament to his handy nature and his love for practical problem-solving.
Randy’s legacy lies in the warmth and joy he spread to others. He leaves behind several family members to remember his life: sisters Sandra (Sam) Taylor and Judy Luttrell, brothers Billy and Doug Holt, and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Randy was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Juanita and Blondagn Holt, his sister Brenda Norman (Roger) Casarez, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
Randy C. Holt's gentle spirit and enduring love have left an indelible imprint on the lives of many. As we mourn his departure, we also celebrate the gift of having known such an extraordinary individual. Though he has moved on from this world, the memories and love he shared will remain forever woven into the fabric of our lives.
Visitation will be June 18th, 2025, from 11-2 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home, with funeral services at 2 p.m. with Bro Cecil Burns officiating. Entombment will follow at Berea Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.lakesfuneralhome.com
