Johnathan Glenn Stamper

Johnathan Glenn Stamper, 48, of Waco, husband of Angie Ambrose Stamper, passed
away Monday, June 16, at Baptist Health in Lexington. Johnathan was born on April 3,
1977, to Shirley Adams Isaacs and the Late Darrell Stamper. He was raised in Estill County and
graduated from Estill County High School. He worked for Independent Opportunities for 16 years, until his retirement in 2021 for medical reasons.
Johnathan and his wife Angie Stamper shared 25 beautiful years of Marriage. He was a member of New Life Worship PCG in Richmond. In his free time, Johnathan loved to fish with his sons and other friends, family, and relax at home with his beloved dogs, Buddy, Scooby, and Rosie.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Larry Issacs, and a stepbrother, Douglas Issacs.
Other than his wife, Johnathan is survived by two sons, Matthew Stamper and Cody Stamper, of Waco. His mother, Shirley Issacs, his brother Darrel Stamper Jr., four half-sisters, three stepsiblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 24, from 5-8 p.m., at Davis & Powell Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, June 25, also the Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Masters and Rev. Tanner Cruse will officiate. Burial will follow at Pilot Knob Cemetery in Berea,
Pallbearers will be Vaughn Ambrose, Teddy Rawlins, Lee Anglin, Darrell Stamper, Jr., Freddie
Willis and John McQueen.
