Anna L. Barr

Anna L. Barr, 87, passed away peacefully on July 5, at Baptist Health in Richmond. Anna was born in Michigan to the late Elmer Steel and Clara Sanders Coffman. She was a homemaker and beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Anna was also preceded in death by her husband, David H. Barr, two grandchildren: Tracy and David Rainey, and great-grandchild Grayson Hogwood, and beloved son-in-law Willie Rainey.
Anna is survived by her children: Linda ‘Sue’ Rainey, Judy (Steve) McQueen, Mike Barr, and Bobbi Jo Hogwood, her two sisters: Linda Sanders, and Glenda ‘Susie’ Shope, her grandchildren: Angela (Justin) Hanks, Michael (Tabitha) Barr, Catherine Hogwood, William Hogwood, Elizabeth (Jerry) Alexander, Karen Barr, Cheryl Hogwood, and Blake Hogwood, her great-grandchildren: David Martin, Rachel Hanks, Zoey Green, Eli Green, Natalee Alexander, Aaron Alexander, Henry Alexander, Christopher Sowers, Eva Hogwood, Sunshine Barr, Ashlynn Barr, Willow Barr, Harper Hogwood, and Harlow Hogwood.
There will be no public services at this time. Lakes Funeral Home and Cremation Services is handling arrangements.
