Annie Hensley

Annie Miller Hensley, age 81, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at Baptist Health in Richmond. Ann was born to the late Harvey Raymond and Mattie Wilds Miller on Oct. 28, 1943, in Rockcastle County. Ann was a homemaker. She loved reading books, gardening, and sitting on her porch watching the birds.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Hensley; daughter; Deborah Neeley; and four siblings, Everett Wilds, Owen Miller, Mary Neeley, and Donald Miller.

Ann is survived by her daughters, Victoria Clark, and Sarah (James Earl) Sparks; siblings, Anita LaSale, Oscar Miller, Jerry Miller, Arthur Miller, and Betty Miller; Grandchildren, Jamie Sturgill, Ashley Sparks, Brenda Hembree, Kacey Neeley, Justin Clark, Austin Clark, Ian Sparks, and Jaci Sparks. She also leaves behind 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Cecil Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Scaffold Cane Cemetery. The family will begin accepting friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Condolences may be left at www.lakesfuneralhome.com
