Levi Junior Rogers

Mr. Levi Junior Rogers, 87, of Turner Ridge, the widower of Eudell Hisle Rogers, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025.

Junior was born on April 30, 1938, in Jackson County. He was the son of the late Levi and Angeline Cain Rogers. He was a retired farmer where he raised tobacco and cattle, and also did construction work. Junior was a member of the Salem Christian Church.

Survivors include two daughters: Darlene Masters (Joe) and Vickie Whittaker; one son: Mark Anthony Rogers; two grandchildren: Bobbi Jo Sharon (Chris) and Angela Hale Gray; three great-grandchildren: Blake Alexander Masters Sharon, Madison Rain Sharon, Ella Gray and Hannah Oliver; one great-great-grandchild: Coy Sharon; a brother: Everett Rogers as well as several nieces and nephews, including a special niece: Sharon.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: J. B. Rogers, and two sisters: Louise Anglin and Myrtle Adkins.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2025, at The Salem Christian Church with Bro. John McCord officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday morning at the church.

Pallbearers will be Roy Garner, Jeff Rose, Alfred Winkler, "Buck" Winkler, Blake Sharon, and Tommy Prather.

Honorary Pallbearers will be friends and family of Poosey Ridge.

The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
