Bernice Abrams

In loving memory of Bernice Abrams, age 86, of Flat Gap Rd in Berea. It is with deep sadness that we announce her unexpected passing at her home on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

Bernice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Abrams, and her two sons, Robert D. Abrams and Dwight Abrams, as well as several siblings, Ivard, Wayne, Hobert, and G.P. Pearson, Maudie Alexander, and Dorothy England.

She is survived by her brother, Paul Pearson, and his wife Connie, and her sister Lydia Vincent, and her husband Rob, and Lucille VanWinkle. Bernice's legacy lives on through her five grandchildren: Shana Followell, Stephanie Chamberlain, Danny Abrams, Cassidy Cornett, and Jon Abrams. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren: Rylee and Hayden Followell, Trevor and Haley Chamberlain, Leah and Jackson Abrams, and Tila Cornett.

Visitation to honor and celebrate Bernice's life will be held from 5pm to 7 pm Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Lakes Funeral Home.
