Ronnie Ray Anderson

Ronnie Ray Anderson age 74, passed away peacefully at his home Jan. 12, 2024. Ronnie was born in Oneida to the late Pearl and Margaret Jones Anderson. Ronnie was a skilled woodworker and craftsman; he enjoyed making wood crafts and cabinets for many of his friends. Ronnie was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Kingston and a US Army Veteran, he served in Vietnam earning a Bronze Star and Purple Heart, he had also worked as a police officer for the Berea Police department, and he was retired from Civil Service with Department of Defense. He was also preceded in death by his wife Sharron Anderson and 5 brothers.

Ronnie is survived by his sons: Jonathan (Alesha) Anderson, and Scotty (Christy) Anderson, a daughter Brenda (Kenny) Carpenter, his grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Christofer, Rachel, Slade and Kase Anderson, his niece Pam (Jason) Bowman and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday Jan. 18, 2024, at Lakes Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Dwight Northern officiating. Burial with Military Honors at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at Lakes Funeral Home from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. with Masonic Rites at 7:30.
