Charles Michael Pingleton, Sr.

Charles Michael Pingleton, Sr, 70, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

Mike was born in Berea, to the late Charlie “Shag” Columbus and Ezma Joy McCollum Pingleton. He retired from Trane Company in Lexington after 38 years of dedication. He was a member of the White Lick Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Davis, and two brothers-in-law, Eddie Davis, and Dooney Jones.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Pingleton; one son, Charles Michael Pingleton, Jr., his wife Atsue, and his children, Charles Michael Pingleton, III, Kaito Pingleton, Amika Pingleton; one daughter, Angela Joy Pingleton Harris, her husband Wade, and their children, Ryann Harris, Trenton Harris, and Abigail Harris; and one great grandchild, Charlie Elaina Pingleton. He is also survived by his siblings, Tim Pingleton, Terri Jones, and Rik (Libby) Pingleton, and several special nieces and nephews, and extended family members. He also leaves behind his close feline companions, Felicity, and Charlie.

Per Charles wishes, there will be a private memorial graveside service at a later date.

Lakes Funeral Home in Berea is in charge of arrangements.
