David Eugene "Gene" Lamb

David Eugene “Gene” Lamb, 68, husband of 42 years to Linda Kaye Gabbard Lamb, passed away Wednesday February 14, 2024, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He was born April 10, 1955, in Madison County, to the late Carlo Lamb and Mary Ballard Johnson. Gene enjoyed fishing and watching old westerns. He loved spending time with family, his grandchildren were the apple of his eye. Gene was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Regina Fry, Jessie Dale Lunsford, one brother, Harold Ballard, and one sister Joyce Robinson.

Other than his wife, Gene is survived by his children, Chad David Gabbard Lamb, Michael, Tim, Kimberly, Penny, and two grandchildren, Caylee Grace, and Gage Eli.

Memorial services were held on Tuesday February 20, 2024, at Richmond House of Prayer with Bro. Dylan Ballard officiating.
