Hamburger indicted on charges of assaulting, attempting to bite first responders

The Madison County grand jury indicted Frances Hamburger with five counts of third degree assult after “kicking, hitting and attempting to bite” five first responders following an incident on Jan. 30.

Hamburger was indicted for assaulting Richmond Police officers Jedidiah Hetrick, Lani Coleman, Charles Champbell and Madison Countt EMS workers Jared Sparks and Levi Tyring.

Hamburger also was charged with resisting arrest, second degree disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

• Eric Olaf Patterson was indicted for the use of a minor in a sexual performance of a 14-year-old girl, following an incident prior to Dec. 14. He also was charged with first degree unlawful transaction with a minor by inducing the 14-year-old to engage in a sexual activity and the use of electronic communication to procure a minor for unlawful sexualk activity.

• Alejandro Garcia-Hernandez was inducted by the grand jury for second degree burglary after unlawfully entering a residence at 1007 Fairwood Drive with the intent ro commit a crime. He also was charged with first degree fleeing police after he ran from police after violation of a DVO. He also was charged with violation of a DVO for being in the presence of Lagrina Origena and unlawfully entering her residence.

• Melissa Robbins was indicted on charges first degree criminal abuse - two counts - after “whipping” a 7-ear-old boy with a belt, causing a bruised neck and serious physical injury. She also injured the child with a grabber tool, causing a bruise to his arm. Both counts placed the child in a situation that could cause serious injury and or subjecting him to cruel punishment.

All indictments were returned on Wednesday, March 20 by the Madison County Grand Jury.
