Nola Ruth Baker Felty,

Nola Ruth Baker Felty, 87, of Berea went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, June 6, 2024. She was born September 10, 1936, daughter of the late Burnam and Gladys Hunter Baker, retired cook at CAP Head Start in Berea, and member of the Baptist Faith. In her spare time Ruth enjoyed quilting, reading, fishing, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son Richard Felty, Jr. (Brenda); daughter Lea Powell; grandchildren Tim Felty (Carrie), Brandy Long, Beverly Lay (Paul), Tiffany England (Jacob); great-grandchildren Rave, Ethan, Adien, Layla, Saleah, Haley, Chase, Kayla, Curtis; great-great-grandchildren Conner, Creed, Everleigh, Bella; sisters Paulette Gilliam (Gene), Sheila Evans (William Abney); as well as numerous relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Felty, Sr., siblings Myrna Herhr, Donna Gabbard, Carolyn Bradley, Nolan Baker, Dale Baker, Danny Baker, Mitchell Baker.

In accordance with Ruth’s wishes, she was cremated, and a Graveside Service is scheduled at 1:00PM, Monday, June 17, 2024, at Red Lick Cemetery with Bro. Jeff Reed officiating.
