Ruby Jones

Ruby Jones, 79, of Berea, died Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital Main in Lexington following an illness. She was a Manchester, KY native born September 3, 1944, daughter of the late Chester Jones and the late Alberta Lee Hubbard Bradley, retired EKU and KY State employee. Ruby had been a resident of Berea since she was six years old. She loved her flowers and cultivating them. She was a member of the Baptist Faith and attended Red Lick Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter Dianne Patton (Robert); siblings Robert Jones (Gail), Alvin Bradley (Vickie), Ethel Barrett (Paul), Lois Lear (Willie), Fern Hollin, Mary Howard; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and church family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Jones; sons Ricky Jones, Ronald Jones; siblings Preston Jones, Luther Jones, Eddie Jones, Maggie Smith, Arie Shelton.

Funeral Service were conducted on June 25, 2024, at Reppert Funeral Home. Burial followed in Jones Cemetery.
