William Dean "Bill" Wildman

  William Dean "Bill" Wildman, 76, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, at Baptist Health. Bill, the son of Bobbie L.R. Wildman and Opal Juanita Wildman was born in Lake City, Florida on January 14, 1948. A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Kyle Marriner Wildman (married in May 1971) and his children; Kimberlin Roxanne Wildman (Meg) of Naples, New York, Robert David Wildman (Nan) of Lexington, Melissa Kristine Ponder (Paul) of Nicholasville, and Kevin Michael Wildman (April) of Berea. Also survived by eight grandchildren: Zack Wildman (Brittany) Louisville, Julia Wildman of Grand Junction, Colorado, Haddie Ponder, Simeon Ponder, Meriam Ponder, Samuel Ponder of Nicholasville. Great Grandsons Eli, Noah and Avery Jade Morgan and Graden Wildman. He is also survived by a brother, Phillip E Wildman of Weirton, West Virginia and a sister, Deborah L Wildman of Lecanto, Florida.
  Retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1988, Bill traveled extensively and spent tours of duty in training, recruiting, personnel, First Sergeant and activity Superintendent. Upon retirement from the military, Bill moved to Kentucky with his family. Hired by Tokico Manufacturing as General Affairs Manager he oversaw the start-up of manufacturing with first hires for the first production line and stayed for 20 years of growth to include over 1000 employees.
  Bill remained active as a volunteer for non-profit organizations and for activities involving community improvements such as age-friendly and economic development projects in    Madison County.
  Bill has opted for cremation with no religious services. He invites all friends to remember him with pleasant thoughts.
