• A sensory friendly and special needs Halloween Trick or Treat event will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Folk Center.

• The Berea Parks and Recreation will host the 22nd annual Halloween at the Park from 6-8 p.m. at the Berea City Park. The event is free and open to the public.

• The Habitat for Humanity will have a Barn Dance and Chili Supper to benefit the Habitat for Humanity in Madison and Clark Counties 4-7 p.m. on Nov. 4 at Happiness Hills Farms, located at 8682 Battlefield Memorial Highway in Berea. Space is limited. The cost is $20 for adults, 12-and-under $15 and 3-and-under will be admitted for free. Register online at hfhmcc.org/hoedown.

• The Richmond Halloween Hoedown will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday Oct. 26 at the Lake Reba Softball Fields. The event is free and open to the public.

• The Women’s Ministry of New Heights Church is hosting a coat distribution event on Saturday, Oct. 28. Doors will open at 10 a.m. and remain open until 4 p.m. An assortment of coats, jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, hats, scarves, gloves, socks, quilts, and blankets will be available. There is no charge for any item and refreshments will be available. New Heights Church is located at 316 Mini Mall Drive, Berea. 

• The Farm City Banquet will be at 6 p.m. on Nov. 13 at the Madison County Cooperative Extension Service. Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased online at https://madison-4-h.square.site/ or at the Madison County Extension Office or by check made out to Madison County 4-H Council. Cash not accepted. Tickets are on sale through Nov. 7 or until sold out. For more information, call (859) 623-4072
