Daniel Joseph Voynar, 77, husband of 55yrs to Margaret Ann Weaver Voynar,
passed away Thursday May 8, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He
was born December 4, 1947, in Pontiac, MI to the late Joseph A. and Grace Towns
Voynar. Daniel was a proud veteran, and devoted Christian, a former boy scout
leader, enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, playing the accordion, and a hard-
working man with an impeccable work ethic over 44 years at General Motors.
In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by one son, Stephen
Voynar.
He is survived by two sons, Aaron Voynar of Berea, Ryan Voynar and his wife
Phyllis of Richmond. Grandchildren, Hope Voynar of Lewisburg, TN and her
mother Tammy Voynar, Harper Voynar of Richmond, Camden Voynar of
Richmond, siblings, Brenda Martus of Haysville, NC, and Jo Ann Naylor of
Waterford, MI. Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday May 12, at Madison County
Memorial Gardens with Pastor Stephen Hobbs officiating. Military Honors will be
performed at the cemetery. Visitation will be 6-7:30 p.m. Sunday May 11, at Davis &; Powell Funeral Home.
