Haze Golden Blevins (also known as Bill Blevins), age 83, died Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. He was a Stoney Fork (Bell County) native born October 12, 1940, son of the late Talton and Carrie Saylor Blevins, retired builder and construction worker. Haze was a member of the Holiness Faith and a resident of Berea since 1969 when he relocated from Cincinnati.
In his spare time Haze enjoyed gardening, fishing and serving as a handyman to anyone who needed help. He enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together.
Survivors include his children Ronnie Blevins, Vickie Damrell (Clarence), Dwanna Harrison; siblings Wanda Neeley, Ron Blevins, James Blevins; special friend Jimmy Todd; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; as well as numerous relatives, friends and church family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Della Lee Blevins; son Ronald Blevins; granddaughter Sheena Damrell.
Graveside Service were conducted Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Saylor Cemetery in Pathfork (Harlan County). Bro. Robert Lee officiated. Pallbearers were John Brock, Shane Damrell, Clarence Damrell, Ronnie Blevins, Jason Blevins, Sean Barnhill.
