Ima Jean Ridley passed away on February 24, 2025, in Berea, Kentucky, at the age of 89. Born on September 28, 1935, in Lancaster, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Lewis and Nellia Grant and the sister of Edward Grant. She was preceded in death by her brother and her first husband, Bill E. Willoughby Sr. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Harry W. Ridley.

She is survived by her children, Debbie W. Taylor (David) of Richmond, Kentucky, and Bill E. Willoughby Jr. (Patricia) of Asheville, North Carolina. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, stepchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Ima Jean lived a life marked by dedication and passion. She took great pride in her home and found joy in collecting antiques and jewelry, treasuring the beauty and history of each piece. Her appreciation for craftsmanship and tradition was evident in all aspects of her life.

A person of deep faith, Ima Jean was a Christian who found strength and guidance through her beliefs.

A private graveside service for immediate family will be held on February 28, 2025, at Richmond Cemetery, located at 606 East Main Street in Richmond, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care Plus in her memory. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
