Jennifer “Jenny” Gross Daniel, 57, wife of Bryan Daniel, passed away suddenly on Saturday morning, May 10,, at Baptist Health – Richmond.
She was born in Lexington, on April 13, 1968, to the late Donald C. & Katie Lee Conner Gross. Jennifer was a graduate of Madison Central, class of 1986, and went to Transylvania University studying Drama. She worked for several years at Shriner’s Hospital working in the post surgery care, as well as working at Lexington Clinic, but her favorite “job” was being a wife and mother. Her daughter Lexi was the apple of her eye and she cherished the moments she was able to spend with her. Jennifer’s gift was working with children, and she helped as a parent volunteer at Model for field trips, special events, bringing back the Girl Scout Brownies, and each year looked forward to helping wrap Christmas gifts for the children as she was very talented at making them look perfect.
If you knew Jennifer very long, you knew of her love for fashion and dressing up – from shoes, makeup, glasses, and getting her hair and nails fixed, Jennifer was always the classiest person in the room. She also enjoyed music, and was capable of knowing just about any song that was played within just a few notes of it starting. Jennifer was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her husband of almost 23 years, Bryan Daniel; her daughter, Lexi Shear (Steven); two step-sons, Will Daniel (Elsa) and Derek Daniel (fiancé, Mary); step-grandchildren, Noah Daniel, Walker Daniel, Clay Shear, Leeah Shear; her in-laws, Edsel & Wilma Daniel; her aunt, Lena Parrish; many cousins and extended family as well as so many friends and her little dog Buddy that was also her mother’s dog until her passing.
