Katherine St. Clair, a devoted social worker and cherished member of the Mt. Vernon community, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on January 4, 1956, in Berea, she dedicated her life to serving others selflessly.
Katherine, a proud alumna of Eastern Kentucky University, served as a compassionate social worker for the state of Kentucky, touching countless lives through her work. Her kind spirit and unwavering commitment to those in need were an inspiration to many. She was a faithful member of Roundstone Baptist Church.
Her memory will be treasured by her loving daughter, Jaclyn St. Clair Shoop, and son-in-law, Langdon; her beloved granddaughter, Delpha Claire Shoop; and her esteemed friend, Sarah Stallsworth. She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, John D. and Marilyn Towery Bullen; her husband, John St. Clair; and her brother, Johnny Bullen.
Per Katherine’s wishes, services will be private with a burial at Berea Cemetery.
Lakes Funeral Home in Berea was in charge of arrangements.
