Lani Jo Johnson Harris, 47, passed away Friday March 15, 2024, at her residence in Berea. She was born March 2, 1977, in Pikeville to Rita Hall Johnson and the late Clifford Lane Johnson. Lani worked as a special needs aid with Berea Community Schools. She loved her family, her pets, flowers, and watching her children play sports, especially football. Lani enjoyed her Jewelry sales adventure as the Glitzy Goddess for Paparazzi Jewelry. She attended the Church of Christ and other churches.
In addition to her mother Lani is survived by two sons, Xavier Drake Harris of Berea, Keygan Lane Harris of Berea, her companion, Aaron Williams of Berea, and a host of relatives and friends.
First visitation will be 6:00PM – 9:00PM Sunday at Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Services at 7:30PM. Rev Achee Eads will be officiating. Second visitation will be after 6:00PM Wednesday March 20, 2024, with services at 7:00PM at Hall & Jones Funeral Home in Virgie, KY. Funeral services will be 12:00PM Thursday March 21, 2024, with the Church of Christ Minister officiating also at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park in Pikeville, KY.
