Ronald “Ronnie” Eugene Lamb, 78, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, in Lexington, surrounded by his loving family. Ronnie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Ronnie was born March 16, 1946, in Berea, the son of Omer and Ada (Parker) Lamb. He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his siblings, Kenneth, Cecil, Lela, Geraldine, and Barbara.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Linda Smith Lamb, and his three children Rhonda Ash, Robert Lamb (Melissa Davis), and Robin Lima (Joseph). He was a wonderful “Pa” to Brittany, Nathan, Brennan, Dawson, and Cayden. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Hayes as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Ronnie was known for his kind heart, sense of humor, and hard work. He was a retired truck driver who was blessed to see the world and always had a story to share about it. He was an avid lover of the Cincinnati Reds, jigsaw puzzles, hunting, fishing, and moon pies.
Funeral arrangements were made through Lakes’ Funeral Home in Berea, Kentucky. Visitation for family will be on Monday, January 6, 2024, from 10 AM – 11 AM. All others are welcome to visit for the public visitation at 11 AM with Funeral services beginning at 1 PM with Brother Bruce Alcorn officiating. Burial will follow at Pilot Knob Cemetery.
