Yvonne June Lovell Clontz, age 86, widow of Charles William Clontz went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 3rd, 1940, in Mount Vernon, Kentucky to the late Sherman and Mary Glover Lovell. Yvonne was retired from Dresser Industries, but her great love was for her savior Jesus Christ and her family, she was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She had a smile for everyone, and everyone loved her, she enjoyed eating out and Red Lobster was her favorite place. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Great Commission Church.
Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings, Sherman Lovell, Jr., Billy Lovell, J.T. Lovell, Douglas Lovell, Geneva Rice, Georgia Searles, Beatrice Green, Patricia Lovell, and Dean Lovell one great grandchild, Crewland Hagan.
Yvonne is survived by six children, Charlotte (Gordon) Eads of Richmond, KY, Jackie (Randy) Cress of Berea, KY, Charles (Debbie) Clontz of Austin, IN, Sherry (Greg) Hagan of Brodhead, KY, Teresa (Kent) Parsons, of Paint Lick, KY, and Phillip (Glynda) Clontz of Crab Orchard, KY. One brother, Donald (Sue) Lovell of Livingston, KY, twelve grandchildren, Britt (Melissa) Eads, Achee (Amy) Eads, Heather (Billy) Gadd, Josh (Monica) Cress, Aaron Clontz, Bridget (Will) Rodgers, Mike (Kristin) Johnsen, Tyler (Karrigan) Hagan, Erica (Zach) Sigman, James Parsons, Phil (Katie) Clontz, Jordan (Tosha) Clontz. Twenty eight great grandchildren, Brittany (Tyler) Buckey, Britton (Alexis) Eads, Braydon Eads, Grayson Eads, Kobe Eads, Nate (Kaydon) Eads, Kenzie (Jacob) Spencer, Hailee Gadd, Andrew Gadd, Jordin Cress, Emmy Cress, Landon Rodgers, Lilly Rodgers, Isaiah Johnsen, Charlie Johnsen, Maddox Hagan, Scotty Joe Hagan, Ella Sigmon, Knox Sigmon, Heidi Sigmon, Harry Parsons, Levi Clontz, Luke Clontz, Lexi Clontz, Aubrey Clontz, Lincoln Clontz, and Jax Clontz. Three great-great grandchildren, Dean Buckley, Eil Buckley, and soon to be, Jett Spencer. Sisters-in-law Sue, Mildred, and Bev.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday June 11, 2026, at the Great Commission Church 555 Mt Vernon Rd. Berea, KY with Pastor Achee Eads and Bro. Randy Cress officiating. Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery. Pallbearers are Britt Eads, Josh Cress, Aaron Clontz, Mike Johnsen, Tyler Hagan, James Parsons, Phil Clontz, Jordan Clontz, Nate Eads, and Knox Sigman. Honorary pallbearers are Jax Clontz, Jackie Clontz, Gordon Eads, Randy Cress, Greg Hagan, and Kent Parsons.
